Nursery to Grade VII.

- Parents seeking admission to NPS DOMMASANDRA are requested to login to our website https://admission.npsdommasandra.com/
- Registration must be completed by providing the mobile number, e-mail ID, and verification process. Kindly do not leave any field empty, as incomplete forms will not be processed further.
- Application Form link will be sent to your registered e-mail ID. Kindly click on the link and submit the application form online with the required details.
- After the application form is submitted, a confirmation letter for the entrance test will be sent to your registered e-mail.
- The entrance test will be conducted at the location mentioned in the confirmation letter.
- Based on the entrance test result, the admission team will organize a meeting with our Academic Team for the student and parent.
- After this meeting the final admission status will be confirmed for your ward.
- Kindergarten and Grade I – The student will have to attend a verbal interaction with the grade teachers at the specified location .
- For Grades II to VII – The student will have to complete a grade–appropriate written entrance test at the specified location.
- Kindergarten and Grade I – Age-appropriate assessment will be based on perceptual, communication, motor, and analytical skills.
- For Grade II – English, Math, and EVS content from the student’s current grade.
- For Grades III to VII – English, Math, Science, and chosen second language content from the student’s current grade.
- SATS TC to be submitted for Karnataka Students. Students from other states shall provide the TC issued by the concerned authorities.
- Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card, Previous Year’s Report Card, 4 passport photographs of the student, and 2 passport photographs of each parent.
If your ward is selected, the admission confirmation mail will be shared within a week.
- Nursery – The student’s age as on 31st May 2025 should be between 3 years to 4 years.
- KG I – The student’s age as on 31st May 2025 should be between 4 years to 5 years.
- KG II – The student’s age as on 31st May 2025 should be between 5 years to 6 years.
- Grade I – The student’s age as on 31st May 2025 should be between 6 years to 7 years.
- Pre-primary: 28-30 students (with two teachers)
- Primary: 30-32 students
- Middle: 32-35 students
Physical Education, Sports, Music, Dance, Public Speaking, Arts and crafts, Clubs, and Special Assemblies are a few of the activities conducted in the school.
- The school offers Hindi/Kannada as a second language.
As per the National Education Plan (NEP), learning the Kannada language is mandatory - Grade I-II – Both Hindi and Kannada languages are mandatory.
- Grades III-IV – Both Hindi and Kannada languages are mandatory, with a variation –
– If the student chooses Hindi as a second language, he/she will learn Hindi at Grade second language level and Kannada at the **Beginner level.
– If the student chooses Kannada as a second language, he/she will learn Kannada at Grade second language level and Hindi at the **Beginner level.
NOTE – **This is applicable for students who have not studied the language earlier.
- Grade V-VII – The third language would be introduced from Grade V.
– If the student chooses Kannada/Hindi as a second language, then Hindi/Kannada would be the third language option, which will be taught at the **Beginner level.
- The textbooks and notebooks will be provided by the school.
- The details of the books will be updated on the school parent portal and the website.
- For KG I, KG II, Grades I – II
– Notebooks need not to be covered.
– Textbooks must be covered with plain brown sheets.
– Stick labels on the top right-hand corner of the textbook.
– Mention the name of the student and class on the label. The section and the subject will be entered later. - For Grades III & above
– Notebooks need not to be covered.
– Textbooks must be covered with plain brown sheets.
– Refrain from using fancy labels.
